Bath Time

Next time we have baths, someone should take pictures. Or maybe not, since we don't look our best when wet. But we are all clean now and ready for another cat show. Humans, some of them, really get worked up about cat shows. To us they are just places to sleep and eat and sometimes play with different people. We have to be in a dumb cage, but ours has a nice bed and a fun hammock in it. Then at night we go to a place called a "hotel" and we get to run around a big room and annoy mommy while she sleeps.

Ribbons are good. The humans love them. We never get to play with them so we don't see what the big deal is. They are worth points, whatever those are.

That's all for now. Gigi walked away from her food bowl which means more for us.

Living with Humans

Sometimes we can learn things from the older cats. Quinn (who left before this pic was taken) and Foxy showed us how much fun we can have on an unmade bed. It's even better when they try to put the sheets on. Getting in their way is good fun and good exercise.

Serious Stuff

Today's topic was supposed to be Cat Shows, because Mommy thinks people who read our blog want to know how we do at cat shows and what ribbons we win. But yesterday we found out that a really hairy handsome guy we met last weekend isn't doing so well, and his mom is really worried about him. And mom's other friend is worried about her cat too, but we didn't meet him. We did see pictures, though. So as you enjoy our blog, think good thoughts for Harley and Leo and their moms.

Our Birthday Present

This is me, Maddie, showing off the new tree which the humans bought for us at the last show. We didn't get to pick the color but I guess this one is OK. It has nice perches and two different kinds of posts for us to climb on. We can look out the window when the curtains are open and there is something worth looking at, like the sun or some birds.

Meanwhile, Trixie is so lame! She is getting her "beauty sleep" (yeah, she needs it too, LOL, just kidding) on the OLD tree.

Happy Birthday to Us!

We are six months old today. Woo-hoo! This means we are old enough to have our own blog. The older cats probably think it's THEIR blog, and it is easier to just let them go on thinking that.

We are celebrating our half birthday by sleeping and eating and occasionally playing. We have found that humans don't like playing when it's dark out; they think that is nap time, which is really so backwards! So, we were stupid enough to fall for that toy thing, we both ran after some dumb feather, all the way downstairs, and someone shut the bedroom door behind us, and Foxy got to stay. That wasn't fair!

We have also found that some humans don't like playing Queen of the Mountain with us. We cannot figure out why they wrap themselves in nice fuzzy stuff that we like to climb on, but get annoyed when we do. Basically humans are not much fun, but since they have thumbs, we have to keep them around to type our blog for us.
